Venom Foundation Launches Hackathon
The Chainwire Venom Foundation has teamed up with DoraHacks, Developer DAO, and Hacken to launch its first-ever virtual hackathon. With registrations beginning on April 27th 2023 and the event kicking off on May 8th 2023, the hackathon will provide developers with all the tools and resources necessary to start building on the Venom blockchain.
Testnet Launch
The hackathon follows from the successful launch of Venom’s testnet earlier this week. This allows users to have a firsthand experience of dApps and blockchain protocols while also enabling developers to debug their projects more easily.
Organizing Partners
DoraHacks is organizing the hackathon as one of its Web3 developer incentive platforms while Developer DAO and Hacken will be providing marketing support and incentives for participants.
Submission Requirements
Participants can submit their applications after the opening ceremony before June 10th 2023. Projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges including Peter Knez (Ex CIO Blackrock), David Atkinson (co-founder Holochain) and Christopher Louis Tsu (CTO of Venom Technology). Developers can work on three tracks–Web3 NFTs & Gaming; DeFi; Tools & Infrastructure–to develop soulbound tokens, stablecoins or crypto wallets among other things.
Conclusion
The ultimate goal of this event is to promote innovation within the ecosystem while allowing developers to push boundaries in terms of what is possible in decentralized applications development.
